New Delhi, 31stJanuary 2023: Air France, the leading French airline, is making a move to improve its communication with its customers by offering a new channel on WhatsApp. The service, which is available 24/7 in English as well as French, Italian, and Brazilian/Portuguese, allows Air France to adapt to the digital habits and uses of its customers. With 2 billion daily users, WhatsApp has become a popular platform for communication between people and businesses. Air France is already present on several messaging and social media platforms, including Facebook Messenger, and is looking to further strengthen its commercial relations by offering more proactive customer service.
The new offering from Air France provides customers with instant answers to common questions via the chatbot Louis and direct contact with an Air France representative for more specific answers. If customers opt-in, notifications will be sent to them at key moments of their journey, from boarding pass issuing to flight information and baggage delivery. Additionally, personalized promotions will allow customers to upgrade their travel experience, with options such as selecting spacious seats or purchasing access to the Air France lounge at the airport. Customers can easily find the WhatsApp chatbot number through the “Contact us” tab on the Air France website and mobile app.
