GITAM and Ashtaksha Labs’ MoU Aims to Revolutionize Cyber Security Research and Education

New Delhi, October 2023: GITAM (Deemed to be University) and the cybersecurity firm Ashtaksha Labs have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating progress in the realms of cybersecurity research, education, and innovation.

This collaboration is set to pioneer a range of co-authored research ventures, programs to enhance faculty expertise, student internships, and the development of state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions. Its primary objective is to bridge the gap between academia and the industry, delivering students hands-on experience and equipping them with the capabilities required to confront contemporary cyber threats.

In a world increasingly intertwined and vulnerable to cybersecurity hazards, this partnership represents a strategic move to stay one step ahead of emerging challenges. It offers a mutually beneficial arrangement, where academia gains valuable insights from industry professionals, and the industry leverages academia’s research capabilities.

Prof. K N S Acharya, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of GITAM (Deemed to be University), expressed, “This MoU stands as a significant milestone, embodying our dedication to cultivating a research-intensive environment. It introduces fresh opportunities for our students and faculty to engage in substantial real-world projects.”

Nandi Dharma Kishore, CEO of Ashtaksha Labs, commented, “We are excited to collaborate with GITAM. This partnership undoubtedly paves the way for groundbreaking innovations in Cyber Security, enriching both academia and industry.”

Both GITAM and Ashtaksha Labs anticipate a productive and enduring partnership that will make substantial contributions to the field of Cyber Security. The collaboration is designed to create a robust ecosystem that fosters talent, innovation, and social responsibility.
