Q.: What is the problem you are trying to solve?
We at Panther Studio Pvt Ltd is working on the concept of AR app in the wildlife sanctuaries, where the visitors can see the augmented image of animals with their sound, and can also listen to the facts about that particular animals.

Our focus is to educate and entertain people about the flora and fauna by using AR technology and can experience a digital layer on a static print with animated details.

At Sajjan Garh biological park, Udaipur, Rajasthan, panther studio has developed an AR app, in which visitors can experience AR by scanning the annexures/signboards and they can take selfies with their mascot.

Q.: Can you share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem?
We found that people are fond of visiting biological park, but they are not interested in collecting information about animals and their life. That is why, we developed this interactive solution.

Q.: Tell us about the Product / Solution. Explain how you went about the Product-Market Fit Process.
The product AR App is an interactive product where the users/visitors can experience the animals in an augmented way. By scanning, the signboards through an AR app user can also hear the sound of that particular animal along with its information in voice-over. This immersive experience has helped in achieving our target to make users/visitors to offer something informative and interesting. Our objective and market fit process was to develop solution which is innovative & engaging.

Q.: What were your assumptions when you entered the market, learning that you have? Who in your mind is your ideal customer? Do you have at least one of them signed up?
We were expecting that the kids would accept this technology, so we have begun by targeting students to make them entertain. On this journey, we realized that it would be better if we use this technology with education. Therefore, we have started to develop educational content for kids.

Q.: What has been your biggest failure as an entrepreneur and what did you learn from it??
As mentioned above, we have begun with only entertainment purpose but it was very limited and hence we have struggled a bit and then after we have developed a concept learning can be entertaining. So, we our biggest lesson was, it is better to launch a product that adds value.

Q.: How are you pricing the Product? What is the logic behind it? What is the model you are following – Free / Freemium / Premium etc. ? Explain your thought process.
The cost of product is based on our research & development, resources used, back-up support and cost of promotional budget. The logic is to make such kind of product, which is worth buying. Therefore, as it is adding value and giving users an unmatched experience, we have gone premium, as our product is not for mass.

Q.: How did you get your first customer?
Based on our learning can be entertaining philosophy, we have marketed educational content publishers and presented this technology, and things have moved positively then after.

Q.: Please tell us about the investors (if any)
Since our establishment, we have not approached any investors.

Q.: Is there any interesting success story? If yes, please write about it. ?
After vigorous research & development, brainstorming, market study, and by personally knowing the educational problem, we have come up with the idea to make education interesting. Therefore, we have developed an AR based educational product. Our target audience was educational content/product publishers, so we have begun our journey by approaching leading educational publishers. All most all have encouraged our efforts, we were hoping for a cakewalk but it was not easy those days, but we continue to promote this product and at last, we got the breakthrough. VISION notebook has not only encouraged us but has given us our first biggest order of 13 AR App, each AR App contains more than 25 objects and in total 350 objects. We have developed 13 different AR Apps like Animals, Birds, Insects, and A-Z etc. This project was special for us. Since than we have capitalized from there and developed AR App for our national & international clients. Recently, we have entered into the government sectors like parks, zoo, museums etc. to make people aware about the facts/information about certain places in an interesting and engaging way through Augmented Reality.

When we have approached one of the biggest educational content publisher of Gujarat, and it turned-out into an opportunity, we have grabbed that opportunity and have developed number of content for their publication.

Q.: What is the big picture of your startup? Is this Product/service leading to something bigger? If so, how?
Our big picture was to enter into the private & public sector where we can add values to that segment by providing our 3D animation & AR/VR services. Now, we have developed all kind of 3D animation & AR/VR based services for medical, educational, manufacturing, government field.

Q.: Since inception, give us a sense of the value of business done by your venture? Please explain in details:
Initially, we have survived somehow, as people were not aware about these services, but gradually we have progressed quite well with our core services like 3D animation & AR/VR. With these services, we have earned lots of respect for our quality of work and our technological services. Our core services have helped us to achieve more than a crore turnover from few lacs.

Q.: What is the insight that you have about this market, which no one else has? Uniqueness about your Startup.
Our perception and our approach towards adding values to your product and services. Our vigorous R &D pertaining to market trend, peoples likes & dislikes. Along with this, we do brain storming activities, analysis, interaction with our team stand us apart from other.

Q.: Who do You Perceive as Your Competition? How do you differentiate yourself with them?
To be very frank, only few are there as far as range of services. We are the one who gives branding, animation, immersive services under one roof. We differ from our competitors with our culture, our work methodology and our number of solutions from 3D animation to AR/VR & corporate solutions.

Q.: What would be your goal to accomplish in the next six months?
We have planned to enter into the government sectors throughout India with our immersive technological solutions.
