T-Hub Launches Cohort 12 of LAB32 in Collaboration with Hexagon

On the 8th of November 2023, T-Hub, renowned as India’s premier startup incubator, made a significant announcement regarding the launch of Cohort 12 of LAB32. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with Hexagon, a global leader in sensor technology, software, and autonomous solutions, sets the stage for fostering growth and innovation in startups specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Digital Reality.

The LAB32 program, a flagship under T-Hub, will play a pivotal role in implementing the Market Readiness Program designed for startups in the MVP stage. This program will focus on addressing specific problem statements identified by Hexagon. To identify startups that are MVP-ready and meet the eligibility criteria, the LAB32 team will execute a thorough selection process. The chosen startups will receive comprehensive support, including go-to-market strategies, group sessions, and personalized mentoring sessions.

This collaboration offers a unique opportunity for startups to leverage Hexagon’s extensive technological expertise and mentoring support, with a primary focus on addressing the problem statements outlined by Hexagon. Notably, startups that excel in this partnership may have the exclusive opportunity to participate in pilot projects with Hexagon, aligning perfectly with LAB32’s core goals of achieving market readiness and access.

Startups participating in this initiative can opt to address one of three specific problem statements, including the creation of digital twins for EV Manufacturing, real-time language detection and translation, and facilitating prescriptive maintenance with Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) for Process Plants.

Speaking about this venture, MSR, CEO of T-Hub, highlighted the importance of collaboration in driving innovation. He emphasized that the partnership with Hexagon signifies a significant milestone in T-Hub’s journey, aiming to empower entrepreneurs and enable their global success. This collaboration underscores T-Hub’s commitment to providing startups with the tools they need to thrive and make a meaningful impact on a global scale.

Navaneet Mishra, Senior Vice President and Head of Hexagon’s R&D Center India, expressed their commitment to assisting Indian startups in channeling their energy and focus towards specific real-world challenges. The Hexagon Startup Catalyst Program aims to support startups with cutting-edge technology platforms, mentorship to facilitate co-solutioning, and the opportunity to access global customers, with the ultimate goal of helping Indian startups scale their innovations on a global stage.

The program’s launch event at T-Hub witnessed the participation of key figures, including MSR, CEO of T-HUB, Anish Anthony, CDO of T-Hub, Raghuveer Kovuru, Director of Innovation Management at T-Hub, Navaneet Mishra, Senior Vice President, and General Manager of Hexagon’s R&D Center India, Sekhar Konidena, Division Head of Hexagon’s R&D Center India, and Anjani Prabhakar, Director of Hexagon’s R&D Center India.
