Deep-tech Startup Vecmocon Raises its Series A Investment of USD 18mn led by Ecosystem Integrity Fund (EIF), Aavishkaar Capital and BII

June 09, 2025: Vecmocon Technologies, a leading deep-tech startup specializing in sustainable and clean mobility, has successfully raised $18 million in Series A funding. The round was led by EIF, a sustainability-focused VC fund, with participation from Aavishkaar Capital, a prominent impact investing firm, and British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution. Existing investor Blume Ventures also joined the round.

Founded in 2016 by IIT and ISB alumni, Vecmocon is committed to building robust, intelligent systems designed for Indian conditions while contributing to the global EV and clean energy transition. The company integrates deep technology to enhance the responsiveness, adaptability, and efficiency of electric vehicles, enabling smarter and more connected mobility solutions.

This funding will accelerate Vecmocon’s market expansion and drive advancements in embedded design, power electronics, IoT, and data science. The company aims to deploy its solutions across 100,000+ vehicles on Indian roads, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable innovation. Additionally, part of the investment will support team growth and the development of world-class R&D infrastructure, further fueling its global ambitions.
