Bal and Awasthi, raised in Indian Army households, bring a unique perspective to Maidaan. Bal, a management graduate from MDI, Gurgaon, and a successful entrepreneur, shapes Maidaan’s vision. Awasthi, an ISB graduate with over a decade of tech expertise, spearheads Maidaan’s product and platform growth.

Maidaan’s strengths lie in its gaming-centric approach to skill-building, commitment to student engagement, and focus on fostering peer-to-peer interactions through skill-enhancing gaming experiences.
The pilot version of Maidaan has successfully engaged students from over 100 schools in 25+ cities in India. The platform has initiated strategic annual and quarterly collaboration plans with schools, starting with expansion plans in Pune.
Judhajit Bal, Co-Founder & CEO, Maidaan, expresses excitement about the backing from Inflection Point Ventures and EvolveX. “We’re thrilled to have IPV & EvolveX onboard and backing us to solve this.”
