New Delhi, 24 June 2025 — HDFC Life, one of India’s leading life insurers, in collaboration with SINE IIT Bombay, has launched the HDFC Life InsUReka Innovation Challenge, inviting startups across India to co-develop transformative, tech-first solutions aimed at reimagining the life insurance value chain.
The initiative seeks to unlock innovation in areas such as customer experience, operational efficiency, digital transformation, and risk management—by giving startups access to real-world challenges drawn directly from HDFC Life’s operational landscape.

The InsUReka Challenge provides startups with:
- Access to live business problem statements from HDFC Life
- Opportunity to develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with potential to convert into long-term contracts
- Mentorship from senior leaders across life insurance and innovation domains
- A curated bootcamp at SINE IIT Bombay
- Visibility and networking through showcase events and workshops
Startups selected for the program will benefit from industry-grade support and a chance to collaborate with one of India’s most forward-thinking insurance companies.
