We are publishing an interview of Mr. Gireesh C Samrat, Founder and CEO of Digital Samrat.

About the founders
Digital Samrat is the brainchild of Mr. Gireesh Samrat (the founder) and Mrs. Shwetha Samrat (the co-founder). Mr. Samrat, with his 20+ years of experience in marketing, first started his business in Internet marketing in 2007. Over the years, he employed his talent in digital marketing strategies to assist several national and international brands to accomplish their business objectives. Mrs. Shwetha Samrat, who has an experience of over 2 years, helps start-ups and small, as well as, medium-sized businesses to grow their ventures on the digital media. Both Mr. and Mrs. Samrat excel in their respective domains and provide training on digital marketing and consultation.

What is the problem you are trying to solve? Can you share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem?
We have noticed that some of our clients come to us when they have already invested 5 to 6 figures on sales and marketing, but to no avail. They often complain of not having enough sales leads or new customers, despite efforts. Other issues like, poor PPC advertising results, high cost to acquire customers and low brand awareness are also quite common. These issues are pretty serious and any business can suffer a lot due to them. We are helping our customers overcome these issues through our smart Digital Marketing Techniques.

Would like to share few Insights –
In 2016, Google stated that around 50% Internet users prefer to watch a video about a product or service before buying it. Therefore, the lack of a proper video or any video at all, is reason enough for the lack of new customers.

Also, according to Hubspot, in 2017, 78% consumers have unsubscribed from emails, as they were receiving too many emails. If such trends and issues are not addressed, no business will ever be able to hit the jackpot.

What is the uniqueness about your Startup?
At Digital Samrat, we follow a unique approach in regard to our strategies and services. Whether it is about tailor-made services or client-oriented objectives, we focus solely on what our clients want. And, thanks to our team for not leaving any stone unturned to devise out-of-the-box ideas and result-driven solutions that meet the varying needs of our clients, across the world.

What is the revenue model? What is the logic behind it? What is the model you are following – Free / Freemium / Premium etc. ? Explain your thought process.
Monthly retainership model.

Who are the consumers that you are targeting? How is this going to affect them?
Very few firms cater to the marketing needs of SMEs. So, we thought, why not us? Independent entrepreneurs, start-ups and corporate houses are among our consumers. But, yes, we do wish to work with Fortune 500 companies going ahead. As for the benefits, our full-on digital marketing efforts can aid business owners to build, develop and scale their ventures.

What is the big picture of your startup? Will it lead to something bigger? If so, how?
Well, we are definitely looking forward to improve our position in the market. As for the big picture, working with Fortune 500 companies is one of our aims. We want people to say, “Hey, you got any digital marketing needs? Why don’t you speak to the Digital Samrat folks?”

Digital Samrat LogoHard work, smart strategies, client awareness & education, and a never back down attitude, I hope, can make us ‘the go-to brand,’ by 2020. I don’t think I will be exaggerating if I say that we want to create 500 job opportunities by 2020 and are seriously working to meet this objective.

What is the success story of your startup in your own words?
Nothing comes from no effort! We faced problems like, lack of manpower and ignorant clients who knew absolutely nothing about digital marketing or its benefits. Again, like all start-ups, we have had issues convincing potential clients who emphasised more on prices rather than look at our expertise, quality of work and deliverables.

But, as they say, every dark cloud has a silver lining. We have come a long way from those days. As of now, we are educating our clients on each and every aspect of digital marketing and its impact on their business. We speak to them to get an insight into what they want and are eventually helping them achieve it. The bottom line is – Never stop trying and you will see light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks Gireesh. Best of luck!
