PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, a leading Industry Chamber of India, ever since its inception in 1905, has been an active participant in the India Growth Story through its Advocacy Role for the Policy Makers and Regulators of the Country.
Women and Child Development Committee works towards the holistic and integrated development of women and children. To achieve its aims, the Committee provides a platform for key experts and decision makers, to share their knowledge and expertise. The Committee works with government agencies, corporate, NGOs and the greater community with regards to policy advocacy and the implementation of the policies which help in the development of women and children.
India has truly become a start-up ‘Nation’. Since 2010, the Indian technology start-ups landscape has seen a tremendous growth towards creation of innovative startups and this country, a home to a new class of young startups, has clearly evolved to become the third largest base of technology start-ups in the world. Within one year, the number of start-ups has grown by 40 per cent, and this number is expected to cross 4,200 in the near future.
The Committee is planning to organise “ WOMEN STARTUP SUMMIT 2017”on July 18, 2017 at PHD House. The objective is to promote our Prime Minister’s idea of promoting Startups in India.
Women and Child Development Committee of PHD Chamber would like to take this step a way forward and promote women from starting up their own ventures and share the progress of growing economy.
