Singapore, July 14, 2025 — DHL Global Forwarding, the freight-forwarding specialist under DHL Group, has announced three key leadership transitions in Asia Pacific effective August 1, 2025, in line with the retirement of long-serving executive Bruno Selmoni, Vice President and Head of Road Freight & Multimodal.
Stepping into Selmoni’s role is Christopher Lim, currently Managing Director for Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. He will serve as Vice President and Head of Road Freight and Multimodal for the region and will continue to be based in Singapore.
Lim’s elevation opens the door for Praveen Gregory, Senior Vice President of Ocean Freight, Asia Pacific, to succeed him as Managing Director, Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. Gregory brings a global logistics track record, with deep experience across Dubai, Germany, and Hong Kong in strategy, commercial operations, and supply chain integration.
Completing the leadership shuffle, Bjoern Schoon, Vice President of Global Business Development for Order Management Solutions and Ocean Contract Management, will assume Gregory’s prior role as Senior Vice President, Ocean Freight, Asia Pacific. With nearly three decades of industry experience, Schoon will relocate to Singapore, adding regional strength to DHL’s ocean freight operations.
“These leadership transitions reflect our commitment to growing talent from within and sharpening our strategic edge in the region,” said Niki Frank, CEO, DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific. “Christopher, Praveen, and Bjoern each bring global insight and dynamic energy that aligns with our Strategy 2030 to drive sustainable growth and customer value.”
The appointments reinforce DHL’s continued investment in leadership excellence across its Asia Pacific network, strengthening its position as “The logistics company for the world.”
